There are so many different ways to arrive at the home page for an interesting project here on Java.net. To help you find the project you are looking for you can list the projects alphabetically or by community, or peruse incubating projects or those that have been archived. In addition you can search all projects for a specific project name. We are particularly proud of those projects that began in our incubator and have matured into successful projects.

lambdaj is a library that makes easier to address this issue by allowing to manipulate collections in a pseudo-functional and statically typed way. In our experience to iterate over collection, especially in nested loops, is often error prone and makes the code less readable. The purpose of this library is to alleviate these problems employing some functional programming techniques but without losing the static typing of java. We impose this last constraint to make refactoring easier and safer and allow the compiler to do its job.

Http server for mobile devices or the Internet. Build lightweight networks of service-based components (SOA). Programmable framework with many features - add/run services, add/search metadata, autonomous, self-organising and distributed/remote communication. The server can be used by itself. Additional packages include a GUI, or a programmable problem solver for optimisation through heuristic search. Java J2SE or J2ME CDC compatible. Status is stable, but still under development.

An in-memory JNDI context. An EphemeralContext is a lightweight JNDI Context which exists only in memory. It can be preloaded with objects from an XML description, and can be modified afterward in the usual JNDI fashion. All changes to the initial content are forgotten when the Context is destroyed. Working code exists and is in production use. I intend to flesh it out with additional common object types.
