I have been trying to use IBM's JavaxUSB API (JSR80) to be able to send commands and receive responses from an OEM printer. Here is the link to the API:
I have been successful in implementing the example given on the IBM's website:
(Note: There are 2 different examples using 2 different APIs. I am talking about the examples using JavaxUSB API)
But the example itself is very concise leaves it to the user to write the read and write code between the pipe open() and close() functions.
Can experts please help me out with a detailed example or a clear comprehensive code snippet that shows how to successfully perform a read and write operation on a USB Device using the JavaxUSB API. Basically the purpose is to incorporate the same into JPOS driver for the USB device, so that using the API we can actually change settings, control device behavior, trap any errors/responses from the device, and to be able to do many other similar operations.
Experts please help.
