I'm unsure if anyone else is seeing this with Windows Server 2008, but I am receiving an access denied exception when the next generation plugin attempts to read the Windows\Fonts folder. Explicitly adding a read permission to the policy file does not change the behavior. Neither does adding the site to IE's Trusted Sites zone. Yet as soon as I disable usage of the plugin, returning to the old one, the applet works fine.
The server is Windows Server 2008 Standard x64, admittedly running as a TS/Citrix node. I've seen two unanswered forum posts elsewhere on other boards, found through Googling, that report similar problems.
Unsure if this is a bug, if anyone else notices this behavior, etc? Thanks!
