I'm understanding that this is where one is to report instances where existing applets don't work with the "Next Generation Plug-in" activated.
We have several lessons within an on-line Learning Management System (LMS) that "white box" whenever a PC within our organization with the "Next Generation Plug-in" activated launch the url. An example is:
But if the "Next Generation Plug-in" checkbox is deselected, then the lesson shows up fine. Or if we utilize Java 6 prior to Updates 10 and 11, or if we deactivate Sun Java use in IE on the PC altogether.
Thus far the LMS vendor hasn't acknowledged my inquiry to them why we're encountering problems with Java. But I'm also posting here, in case there's a fix in the works for Java 6 Update 12.
I have no clue what utility or process the vendor is using to convert the PowerPoint content into a Webpage.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
