The JavaSE6u10FeedReader.jnlp causes the following on my system:

Yes, I realize that this is an article regarding Java 6 Update 10, and that it might work if I update. However, I'm at work and this is what we have. Other places are going to be even less up-to-date. If you want people to adopt a "new" technology, you kind of need to make it work without it crashing on their system (or at least have a JRE check).
