I would like to be able to open a custom file type with an applet. I have the association setup in my jnlp file and all is working correctly with that. (I'm playing with the new draggable applet functionality, and my applet is installed to the desktop after closing the browser.) I can double click my custom files and my installed applet is launched as a webstart application correctly. My question is, how do I obtain the name of the file that is launched so that I can use it? Does it come in as a parameter to the applet?
I know that if this were just a normal application, that the argument would come in through the main method parameter of arguments. How does this work for applets?
