The JavaHelp development team is pleased to announce that JavaHelp V2.0
Release Candidate 2 is now available at:
JavaHelp software is a full-featured, platform-independent, extensible help system that enables developers and authors to incorporate online help in applets, components, applications, operating systems, and devices. Authors can also use the JavaHelp software to deliver online documentation for the Web and corporate Intranet.
This release will be submitted, along with the JavaHelp V2.0 Technical
Compatibility Kit (TCK), to the Java Community Process as the proposed
Final Draft for JSR-97.
The JCP Standard Edition Executive Committee will review the submission
and vote. The expected time period will be within 14-21 days of today.
Upon approval by the SE Executive Committee, JavaHelp V2.0 (and JSR-97)
will be officially released.
Those interested in the JavaHelp V2.0 Technical Compatibility Kit can
download it at http://javahelp.dev.java.net/ . Instructions are provided
in the README.txt file and as part of the download.
