I'm hoping I might be able to use the IP since I can't get to javaweb.sfbay.sun.com. (The IP may well not work if javaweb.sfbay.sun.com is being virtual hosted, but it's worth a shot...)
I tried it both here, and at the office, and neither one could find it. Since (apparently) the Maven Checkout target needs this address to actually get the source code, not being able to see the machine is problematic.
But I have to assume someone else outside of Sun is actually getting the source code, so they must be able to see javaweb.sfbay.sun.com.
If you're using a different host, what host is that? If you're using javaweb.sfbay.sun.com, can you ping it and post the IP. If you're doing something completely different, please share what you're doing. If you're inside Sun, can you try the directions given in the FAQ and such and see if you can fetch the source code from outside of Suns network?
I'm trying to follow the directions posted here: https://glassfish.dev.java.net/public/BuildGlassFish.html
Below is the nslookup I was trying.
Default Server: localhost
*** No address (A) records available for javaweb.sfbay.sun.com
