So nice to be back at the Apache Conference! After being banned for 3 years (just kidding) for having forked from Tomcat, seems the Grizzly Comet was bright enough to be part of the fiesta this year! Maybe the iPhone demo was the main reason? Maybe that's because we will eventually have an alternative to Google Gears?
After 3 years, I'm really happy to be back as a speaker at the annual ApacheCon conference! Today I've presented the Grizzly Comet (using Grizzlet ) in front of a crowded room and guess what, event the iPhone demo running Grizzly Comet worked well! Curious to see what we have presented? I've uploaded the slides here . Unfortunately (for now .. the framework code will soon be available here :-)), you have missed the Grizzly iPhone demo :-). Don't miss the next demo when Grizzly Comet orbits JavaPolis ! Google Gears , you may have a new competitor soon :-)
