A new article on Sun Developer Network shows you how to integrate the two products to achieve single sign-on.
Sun engineer Robertis Tongbram and I just published a new article, Sun and Microsoft Interoperate for Web Authentication, Part 2: Sun Java System Access Manager and SharePoint Portal Server 2003 , which describes the procedure for integrating the two products for single sign-on (SSO). Afterward, once a user is authenticated by Access Manager, he or she can access all the other sites that are also configured for SSO through Access Manager. No further logins are required. Also, you can then administer through Access Manager the authorization policies of .NET applications that rely on Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).Note that to install and configure the SharePoint Agent, you need IIS 6 Policy Agent Hotpatch 8, which is not yet available for download. As soon as that patch is released, the article will link to it pronto.
