Attending JavaOne Tokyo on November 8-10? Do join the activities associated with the launch of Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8, a robust IDE.
If you plan to attend JavaOne Tokyo between Tuesday-Thursday, November 8-10, don't miss the many activities associated with the launch of Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8 . Here are a couple of highlights.
- Keynote presentation by Sun VP Jeff Jackson, accompanied by a cool demo
- Sessions by Sun technical luminaries, among them Charles Beckham, Todd Fast, Mike Frisino, and Dan Roberts, on numerous interesting topics, including the following:
Be Productive in Developing Secure Enterprise Applications
- Hitchhikers Guide to SOA
- The Latest Directions of Sun's Java Development Tool and Runtime
Some presentations will be in Japanese; the ones in English will be complemented by simultaneous interpretation to Japanese. A little bird tells me that promotions are in the works with many, many valuable prizes.
In addition, you can hobnob on the floor with Sun Java Studio Enterprise and Sun Java Studio Creator experts and localization folks, who will demo both tools. Be sure to bring your questions.
Two day-long sessions are also scheduled at the University of Tokyo and the University of Tsukuka on November 11 and 14, respectively, on Sun's developer tools and the OpenSolaris project, along with code camps. Student developers are our future gurus--kudos to Sun for including them as a key audience!
