Do you post at the Sun Java Studio Enterprise Forum? If so, want to read a recap of several threads of interest? If not, interested in learning what that forum is about or in reading a summary of a few postings there? This is part 2 of a three-part series.
The Sun Java Studio Enterprise Software Forum is the place for you to congregate with fellow developers and the Java Studio Enterprise engineering team online: You can ask questions, post comments, discuss bugs or issues, share your thoughts about the UI, offer suggestions. Not a participant yet? Just join Sun Developer Network --for free--and then sign in and post away.
This is part 2 of a series in which I've recapped a few threads that are of interest. As in the case of a previous series, Nifty Capabilities in Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8 Early Access , Nathan Fiedler of the Java Studio Enterprise development team is the background hero who extracted and explained the threads to me. A salute to him.
Portlet Builder in Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8 Early Access?
A forum participant recently asked about Portlet Builder--is it packaged with Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8 early Access?
Karthik responded that the Portlet Builder module is actually in Early Access, just disabled. We could simply enable the module, an EA participant piped in. Karthik pointed out that an updated version would become available on the EA Update Center soon and that Portlet Builder will be part of Sun Java Studio Enterprise 8, currently scheduled for release in October.
For details, here's the thread in question .
Stay tuned for part 3 please.
