How would you like to see IDEs evolve over the next 2 to 5 years?

Exactly as they are now, on the desktop, because IDEs are best suited for the desktop

I like the trend towards having the IDE give real time feedback ala http://www.lighttable.com/ , https://github.com/scala-ide/scala-worksheet/wiki/Getting-Started, and http://ipython.org/notebook.html

So happy to see that #2 only has 1 vote so far. I'm so sick of hearing that "everything is moving to the web". I have zero interest in building apps with the complex mess that is HTML 5, CSS 3, and JavaScript.
