Is there any way like creating files, running batch files in the client machine where as java web application is deployed in some other server.
Please help out.
You have the server and the client, and the web app is on the server.
When the client opens the page, the app is started.
This is what happens when a Web browser connects to a Web page that has a Java applet on it.
The applet is actually running on the client, not the server.
Because of this, you can use the standard file IO to create the files, and the ProcessBuilder class can help run the external files.
