I had been using swingx-0.9.6 since day 1 till now. Its JXTreeTable works just fine all the time, except it doesn't support sorting.

Just till recently, I received complaint from users (again) that JXTreeTable is not sortable. Hence, I make up my mind this time. I must make JXTreeTable supports sorting! :)

I was wondering, does latest SwingX 1.6.3's JXTreeTable already support sorting? Or, it is not?

Thanks.

If you check the source code of JXTreeTable, you may find the words as below
TreeTable is not sortable because there is no equivalent to RowSorter (which is targeted to linear structures) for hierarchical data.

In fact, it is something can be done. We are very lucky to discover the code from Ray Turnbull.

It is currently in our source code repository. The sorting feature is almost be completed :)
