HI,

I done the profiling setup using netbeans in my PC emulator setup.

When i try to get the profiling info of the STB, the stack is already flashed in the stb and i am not able to flash my stack which is

having this profiling setup.

so, is there any vway to get the profiling info of the STB by using existing stack available in the STB?

Profiling support is very specific to the VM running on the STB. Only your VM vendor can tell you how/if you can enable profiling output.

Thanks,

In my STB i think the profiling is enabled and it displaying like this,

stdout: [JDWP] Debug server running at port 8000 ...

I try to use netbeans IDE to read this output info from this port 8000, but i don't know how to read this info using IDE. I think it is

not just like generating the remotepack and so on. So how can i read this info from this port using any IDE.

JDWP (Java Debug Wire Protocol) is used for attaching a remote debugger -- not for profiling. Support for output of profiling information must be specifically built into your JVM. You will need to contact your VM vendor to get more information about profiling support.
