Hi to all,

Hi, I'm trying to write a Xlet which use the phoneMe advanced, I'm using QT like graphic toolkit.
I want to create a GUI for my xlet but I don't know how and I cannot find tutorials.
I want to do something like this http://www.slideshare.net/marleigrolli/solisc-2010-ginga (slide #50)
So I need to know how to show an Image, how to create label, menu, textfield, etc

Does someone help me?

Thanks a lot.

Fabio

Hi Fabio,

You might want to start out here to learn about Xlets:

http://www.mhp-interactive.org/tutorials/javatv/first_xlet

Then, try this book to go into more depth about how to create a sample
button:

And how to load an image:

Thank you very much for the answer.
I have one more question, I want to create a Login form do you have any idea how to do it?
I mean, I don't have textfield, I don't have passwordfield and I don't know how to take the user input with the remote control.

Hi Fabio,

No sorry, I don't know how you would create a login set of UI controls
without writing all the rendering and event widget code yourself (which
would be non-trivial for a label, button, and text field that hides input).

You might want to first check out the GRiN project:

https://hdcookbook.dev.java.net/

Maybe that can help in what you're trying to do?
