Hi,

I am wondering whether it is possible to use the "composite" operator to merge images of different size?

Thanks a lot,

Frederik

I'm sure it's "possible" but it's unclear from a cursory reading of the
docs what the size of the result would be. Could be the union,
intersection, or simply the size of the first input. Best bet is to try
it to see what you get.

The "border" operator can be used to pad the smaller one so they're the
same size. You may also need "translate" to put it in the right
relative spot.

If all else fails you can also use "constant" to create a blank image of
the appropriate size then use "overlay" (and probably "translate") to
put the smaller image into it. Then "composite" to combine them.

Hope that helps...
