Hi all,

we are writing a J2ME app using LWUIT framework. Our code-base has grown to a good extent and we wanted to see all the memory leaks through some memory profiler while the app is running on the device.

Kindly help us in identifying a good memory profiler which can list all memory leaks and help us better the code organization.

Thanks Much.

Hi,

I tried to use http://www.yourkit.com/java/profiler/, it has trial
licence. Worked great, and I heard good feedback from other people
too.

I tried to profile J2ME midlets running under MicroEmulator. Since
there is a lot of runtime code other than the midlet app, I mostly
used snapshots, and analyzed heap changes between them in use cases I
considered as critical ones.

Regards,
Mike
