JXTaskPane Questions

Greetings,

I am a new user of swingx and I have two questions regarding JXTaskPane.

1) My application adds actions to a JXTaskPane dynamically. Is there a way to sort the contents of the task pane so users can easily find actions?

2) I would like to give users the ability to remove actions from the dynamic task pane by clicking an icon next to the link. Is there an easy way to do this or do I need to intercept mouse clicks, etc.?

Thanks,

Craig

Out-of-the-box: no. We have no idea what is being added to the task pane as it is possible to add anything. You can do bubble sort the components using setComponentZOrder. Lower values appear at the top.

You can add anything that you want. If you are adding actions, then you would need to change that to more complex component. You can configure the inner action using the UI delegate for the JXTaskPane.
