JXTable Highlight based on time

I am relatively new to the JXTable, and I am really enjoying how easy it is to do things that were incredibly difficult with the JTable. I am still having a difficult time figuring out how to do a conditional highlight based on time. A lot of my confusion comes from the fact that most of the googled-for solutions use the ConditionalHighlighter which is no longer in the API.

Quite simply, I have a JXTable with an alarm-time column, and I would like to highlight or, flash by fading in and out, any row where the alarm-time is in the past.

Any suggestions or links to docs/examples would be greatly appreciated

The ConditionalHighlighter was removed in favor of HighlightPredicate. Each Highlighter now has a predicate to determine when it should display. You simply need a predicate that checks the date of the cell against the current date.
