Hello,

my question: is it possible, to create the "shift" or "caps lock"-icon as unicode in phoneme applications?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Mathias

Hi Mathias,

If your native font on your device supports these Unicode characters, I
would suggest to use:

UPWARDS WHITE ARROW for Shift
http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/21e7/index.htm
C/C++/Java source code "\u21E7"

and

UPWARDS WHITE DOUBLE ARROW for Caps Lock
http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/21ee/index.htm
C/C++/Java source code "\u21EE"

Be careful, since this really depends on the native font support on your
target device. Java supports the Unicode format itself, but is not
responsible for display of that code. The native font layer on your
device is responsible for final display of any Unicode character.
