Thank you for your attention Kees, I should probably be doing something stupid, boring and that the project has cost me a whole days .... I will continue with the tests

see you

Just to let you know, the CMS is an old library and has been deprecated with the new ContentService API (2.6). I don't think there are many CMS knowledgeable people left in the community.

Sorry.

Well, my biggest problem is that the project began using the API 2.5, and the deadline for delivery is very short, I will not have time to study and test the new API 2.6, unfortunately ...

hmm, I had not thought of that when the contents of the file and changed, and the same and published, and created a new advertisement on the network and various advertisements are circulating the same file, I think a peer is trying to download this file while it is strategic change, which should be generating the error. But in my tests, stop the CMS service to delete the old advertisements cause several errors, any suggestions?

No, I'm sorry. I don't know the CMS service well enough to know if it has some means to tackle this problem. I would think however that is very important to send copies of files instead of the files themselves in order to prevent all kinds of issues like these from occurring. Probably you will have to define some sort of protocol to ensure that only the most recent copy of a file is available, for instance by resending it to other peers that use that file.

Good luck

I don't think this is really a JXTA problem, but rather a problem of file handling. It may have to do with an open in- or outputstream that is blocking an operation (for instance a file.delete()) or that the erasing of file content is not terminated correctly.

I would look in that direction
