After all the discussions about the JSR 75 (http://forums.java.net/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=59958&tstart=135, http://forums.java.net/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=71871&tstart=45) , it may sounds stupid to rise another question on the matter. But I do have a problem here.

I downloaded PhoneME feature from Davy’s website (many thanks for this nice software) and installed on a Maplin Device A10JQ (WinCE 5.0, ARM processor). It works fine with Opera Mini. It also works with Mobile GMaps except for reading the stored maps. I tried to put maps in every sub-folders under \Storage Card\pMEF MIDP\appdb, but PhoneME just cannot browse to the maps. So the question is: where is the file system folder? Is there such a root folder like Sun’s WTK (e.g., …j2mewtk\2.5.2\appdb\DefaultColorPhone\filesystem) ? The Mobile Gmaps jar/jad files are tested with WTK 2.5.2 on a PC under Windows Vista, there is no problem on this setting.

Please help.

I have not tried the Mobile GMaps application as I only tested the WinCE file system
backend implementation with a few test examples.

Can you check what happens with for example this application:
