JTableHeader: sort icon position in right-to-left orientation?

Hi (eastern and other :-) experts,

in my (western, left-to-right) context, the sort icon position of a table header cell is to the right of the cell. What is the correct position in right-to-left contexts? My expectation would be that it should show up at the left of the cell - which it doesn't when I change the orientation.

So the question is what's wrong: my expectation or DefaultTableHeaderRenderer's implementation (which doesn't adjust the orientation)

A related question: assuming I want to add a number to the icon (indicating the sort order for multiple sorts) where should that number appear relative to the icon in RToL orientation?

Thanks
Jeanette
