duse anyone know list of public rdv seeding urls ?
or if it not to expensive(as I am a student) I can setup my own seeding service, but I don't know how to setup Rdv seeding service!!!

please help me community with this problem.

thanks,
sharique

What do you mean by 'host this programm on internet'? I am not sure I understand you.

If the question is about copyrights, then yes you can, as the license in the code allows it.

sorry for confusing statement, but what I mean, basically I want some functionality similar to bittorrent seeding, when any peer come online, then it will publish itself to seeding url, so that if any other peer come online then they can query seeding url, and seeding peer will respond with peer list, hope this will clear.

As default JXTA seeding URL is down, so I am planing to create my own seeding peer, which i can host on internet on any J2EE webhost, or if there is any already scritp out there then I can upload that.
thats a reason why i raise this questing, and adamman your really supporting, thanks

Such functionality does not exist, but it would not be very hard to implement. You could set-it up for with a query system and a peer with a public address.

This peer would publish the 'updated' seed list on a web server for example... You could embed that in a wicket application for example... (just an idea) !!!

The default seeds are indeed down.

You can set-up a RDV seed with a public address, then create a seeding file for your edges (I have created a new Creating_And_Setting_Seeds example available for download at www.practicaljxta.com).

Yes, you can post such a file on the internet, create a URI to it and have your peers configured with setSeedingURI(...) in the NetworkConfigurator (on top of my head).
