Hi,
Can someone clarify this for me please?
When I have a web service client and I create a service to get a port and call the web service methods, does a permanent tcp connection get created that will be used for all the subsequent web service calls or once the result returns for the first method the tcp connection is closed and reopened for the next service call?

Thank you

In general: this depends on the web service client implementation. Look for "keepalive" in its documentation.

As long as you can find keepalive, you know that it is all good.
