Transparent texture + Appearance
I'm mapping several textures with an alpha channel (png) onto the sides of a standard box. No problems here. Furthermore I want to achieve, that the color of the "underlying" appearance object is visible in the transparent areas of the texture.
I can set the appearance object with respective color and without textures this is showing up as intended.
With texture mapping I can only see the non-transparent parts of the texture as they are intended to be, but the transparent parts set to black.
How can I blend the appearance color and the alpha channel of my textures? Does anybody know a solution?
