[GF Tools Bundle] adding a remote server

Hi all,

I'm using Glassfish Tools Bundle (Eclipse). My "Server" view contains the localhost server.

When I try to add a remote server by these steps :
- Right click on server view
- New > Server
- Server's host name : {local_ip}

When I set "localhost" as {local_ip} everything is ok, I can choose between (Basic HTTP server, GlassFish(es), Sailfin(s), Sun AS).
When I set a local IP pointing to a glassfish server, all the elements of the list disappear excepted Basic > HTTP Server.

Is there a way to manage a "remote" Glassfish server from Eclipse, on which we could deploy applications ?

Thanks for replies.

Regards,
Olivier.

Hi,

Thanks for reply. Do you have any information about a planned release containing this feature ?

Thanks

Sorry, no plans yet for this support...

Sometimes I ask myself if there are Eclipse users in the GF community... So much differences between Eclipse and Netbeans are left behind, or poorly documented, or unresolved.

Thanks ludo for your reply :-)
