Hello,

my problem is, that I have to use the BufferedImage and its functionality.
Why I can´t use this completely?

Is there a possibility to use this or exists any alternatives?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Mathias

Hi Matthias,

Unfortunately, the BufferedImage API was subsetted for Java ME Personal
Basis Profile on purpose:

http://java.sun.com/javame/reference/apis/jsr217/java/awt/image/Buffered...

This was done to simplify and reduce the memory requirements for Java ME
PBP, which targets running on small devices with limited graphics
functionality.

Was there some specific functionality you need that the subsetted API
does not provide? There might be a possible workaround that someone can
suggest.

Thanks,
Hinkmond

Hello,

my first problem is, that I need this constructor.

public BufferedImage(int width,
int height,
int imageType) {...

Then I need the function .getGraphics, to get a 2DGraphic

Is there a possibility to make it with BufferedImage or other Components?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Mathias
