Windows CE 5 netbook, non persistant My Documents

Hi, Iv'e put PhoneME on my CE netbook, it works great when the Java folder is copied to 'My Documents'.
My Problem is that on this machine, that 'My Documents' folder gets wiped each reboot, so I set up another my docs folder on the writable NAND by editing the Registry file:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE Services\FileSyncPath = "\Flash2\My Documents"
(REG_SZ string, no quotes)

Most programs respond to this, but PhoneME won't even notice it's there. It only works on the RAM based My Docs.

Is there any way around this do you think?

This would help a lot of Netbook users, as for some reason, they all seem to copy files from BINFS to a ram version of Windows.

All the best, and thanks for this great program!

Ok, so I thought I'd beaten it.
I used a Mortscript to copy the Java folder (subdir: appdb and lib) from :
Flash/My Documents\Java => My Documents\Java

It works the first time Opera is installed, after a reboot it fails.

Myt question is, do Jad files save data somewhere in the Java folder after instalation?
if that's the case. it would explain the failure to run installed midlets after reboot.
