Hi guys,

I am looking for api documentations for BD-J development. something similar to the followings.

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/
http://www.thisserver.de/dvb/DVB-MHP-RefImpl/docs/index.html

for example, I want to know more about VFSManager and BDLocator Classes. where can I find such info?

There are good notes on the Wiki for how to get everything and put it together:

http://wiki.java.net/bin/view/Mobileandembedded/BDJPlatformDefinition

BD-J API docs and stubs need to be licensed, but it's a free license, IIRC: http://www.blu-raydisc.info/license_app/javadocstubs_apps.php

Cheers,
Joe

Thanks Joe,

not that I do not appreciate this forum, I wish there is a wiki-like api documentation for bd-j development as http://www.php.net

their documentation has sample codes within it and people can share problems and solutions at the end of the document.

Best,
Sean

Well... The number of developers who do PHP might be slightly larger than the number who do BD-J; that tends to impact the robustness of on-line resources. Also, many of the specifications hold a BDA copyright and need to be licensed, so things are structurally less open.

That said, I'd absolutely welcome additions to the existing wiki. Alternately, if you or someone else want to set up some other kind of on-line forum, I'd be more than happy to link to it.

Cheers,
