Users have reported a couple of issues when installing the SDK on Linux.

Two nasty issues running Eclipse 3.42 on Ubuntu 9.10 (and possibly other distros) and their workarounds.

1. After installing and starting eclipse, after spash screen goes away, you are left with an empty dialog that is frozen. You have to kill it from a Terminal window.

Workaround: Add this line to eclipse.ini
-Dorg.eclipse.swt.browser.XULRunnerPath=/usr/lib/xulrunner

2. Cannot install TWB plugin. You can add the site, select the plugin, but clicking Install does nothing. It's a general button/UI problem - other buttons do not work either. Key accelerators work though ( i.e. Alt-I for Install )

Workaround is here: http://www.norio.be/blog/2009/10/problems-eclipse-buttons-ubuntu-910
