Hi all,

I've that problem, I've made some xlet and all run well on TMT, PowerDVD 8 and PS3, now i've made an xlet and like bridgehead it work on TMT and PowerDVD 8 but when i put the disk on PS3, i've got a black screen and no error, i've made a screen log and http log and i'm unable to see nothing. The only difference i think is the second jar in my image, about that i've get the configuration (id.xml, index.xml, bdjo.xml...) from the bridgehead example in HDcookbook. I've even compiled the example in the HDcookbook and the same, it work well on TMT and PowerDVD 8 but not in my PS3!! :(

Any help??? please

PS the precompiled image of HDcookbook work well!!

The PS3 is more strict about security checks than software players - are you using signed JARs?

Hi Joe and Thank you :),

Yes i've sign the jar using the tools in HDcookbook project and the keystore right. The other xlet i've made using the same system work well in PS3.

I've tried to revert the id.bdmv, index.bdmv... from the precompiled HDcookbook image using the HDcookbook tools but i've seen only few differences i've correct that, but the same stuff... black screen on PS3 :(

Bye and thank you

Joe Rice

One thing to check is to make sure the org ID matches between the key you used to sign the JAR, the application info in the BDJO, and in the permission request file in the JAR.

Cheers,
Joe
