Newbie problem

I just downloaded Wonderland.jar, ran it on my server with "java -jar Wonderland.jar" and then went to http://(myserver):8080.

I go to the page that lets me choose launch or admin, and I choose launch. It prompts me to login, and it has my userid already filled in. I put in my name, and click login.

Nothing. Black screen. I can toggle the FPS counter on and off, but that's it.

I check the error log, and see the following...

The key part seems to be LoginFailureException, but the "Connection refused: no further information" part leaves me scratching my head.

Am I missing something?

Well, something's preventing a connection to port 8080 on your server. This could include DNS issues, firewallls and odd router behaviors between your client machine and the server.

You probably should pursue this over at the new forum:

It's weird because I can telnet to port 8080 from my machine no problem, so I'm not sure why Java wouldn't be able to.

Anyway, I'll ask over in the new forum.

Thanks for the quick reply!
