Declare StrictNumberFormatter and NumberFormatExt public?

I would like to have the StrictNumberFormatter and NumberFormatExt classes in the org.jdesktop.swingx.table package being declared public.
Any objections to this?

I try to implement some individual table cell editors and these classes are quite helpful to implement the numerical editing.

hmm ... not entirely into the details, but probably could do (on first sight nothing serious to hide :-). Would you please file an issue so we don't forget to look into it soon?

Thanks!

loud thinking: probably should be in another package, like in a yet to be created - analogous to core, something like
org.jdesktop.swingx.text
Plus think about better - mean: more descriptive as to what they are doing - names?

opinions?

Thanks

Package sounds good.

StrictNumberFormatter -> ExactNumberFormatter, NonTolerantNumberFormatter (sounds strange...), RangeCheckedNumberFormat
NumberFormatExt -> (I am using it but I don't know what it is doing)

it's been a while ... but finally made it ;-)

names are unchanged, moved the classes to text package with public access

Thanks
