Hi, how is it possible to safely terminate JXTA? I have tried NetworkManager.stopNetwork() but the application is still running after more minutes. Is there some safer way other to System.exit() ?
We have been working on this for the 2.6 release. The situation has seriously improved, although stopping the JXTA network can still be slow when using HTTP communication. This is due to a third party library that we are using. The plan is to get rid of it in the next release (Cheesebruger). In the mean time, I advise you to try 2.6 if you have not done so yet.
