Log Viewer problem

I set Log Viewer to show every message and to appear at start client.
After then, it is too slow to open client and could not open configure window of Log Viewer.
How can I reset this configuration by manually?
I tried to delete cache files and server/client folders, but it does not work.

Value of "visibleOnStartup" in Log viewer is stored by using Preference object which record data in registry. (

I found some records of JW around 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\JavaSoft\Prefs', and delete them all.

My client is recovered from the above problem.

I think that there is a problem(bug?) on handling process of selecting option of showing all levels error at startup, because it made Log viewer crashed without any responding, and there is no simple way to recover to previous setting in JW.

are you referring to the java console? The way to change that setting without munging the registry is to go to Start > Control Panel > Java. And then select the Advanced tab. From there, click on console and set the radio button accordingly. Messing with the registry is dangerous. Hopefully this is what you're talking about.
