Hello,
I'm using Nokia E71 device and I have disabled the T9 keyboard.
In my text fields, when I try to to enter the '@' symbol as first symbol, nothing happens. But when I enter some char, than delete it and try to enter the '@' symbol again, it's working fine.
Any ideas what might have causing this ?

Thanks

I downloaded the latest LWUIT sources and added them directly to my project. It seems to be OK now. Thanks.

By the way, there were some errors on some places :
"The method addComponent is defined in an inherited type and an enclosing scope"
which I fixed by adding this. infront some methods.

My compiler is 1.6 .

Are you using the latest SVN and setQwertyInput(true). This won't work otherwise.

Thanks for the answer,
I tried with TextField.setQwertyDevice(true); but there was no effect. Currently I use the latest binary LWUIT package.
I downloaded the latest LWUIT sources, but I'm not sure how to create a jar which to add to my project.
Of course I could add the sources directly but I don't know if it's preferable.
