I have 0.5-dev on an ubuntu server with 1.6.0_16 JRE. All the wonderland servers indicate running. When I try to launch the client on a windows machine I get the following messages on the java console.Following launch I get a display with wonderland at the top, then a line which begins file edit view ... then a white box titled Location which is empty. The java console follows. I have no idea what JAXB is or what to do about this error or if this is the cause of the last line of the log which reads, 'Java Web Start Error',

I ran into this issue on a colleague's Windows machine where an older version of Java (or something else that used JAXB) was in the PATH before the 1.6.0 version and hence getting picked up first.

Try and run the client from the command line first and set a new PATH for that session just pointing to your JRE/JDK directory to see if this is your issue.
