I remember reading some time ago about some techniques/library of using context/thread/local/something techniques to avoid memory allocation. The idea was that if you used this technique sufficiently, you could avoid garbage collection. Seemed like it was a matter of creating a context around the code so it reused objects or something... I did some searching but can't find it again.

Anyone know of info on such a thing?
