I wolud like to ask, anybody has a documentation in the topic.
Sample code, anything...
Google gave no useful result for me, after more hours of search.
Thanks a lot,
There's a short six-page overview of the BD-Live features in Chapter 22 of the HD cookbook, "BD-J Networking and VFS." See ISBN 978-0-07-1496689-8. Blu-ray Disc Demystified has at least a couple of paragraphs on page 6-46 - ISBN 978-0-07-159092-1.
BDLive is essentially just about network connectivity. In BD-J, it's done with standard java.net APIs just like how one would on JavaSE. There are some tricky things about getting the right permission for the app, but I don't know of any technical doc about it beyond the BD spec.
Our hdcookbook repository have a few example xlet code that uses Socket connection. I've also been finding BD-ROM Part3 Guideline doc, and it's Annex A "Java Examples" quite helpful; those come as an official part of the BD Specification, I believe.
There's BD specific concept called VFS Update (virtual file system update) that is often used with an downloaded content, and that is discussed frequently in this forum. You can also find sample code for that in hdcookbook.
Thanks a lot,
