Hi

I am working on making phoneme work for our Linux/arm device with touchscreen input. I have successfully built midp and its able to run J2ME applications on the device, but the applications are not able to take any inputs from the touchscreen display. My question is : how to enable applications to take inputs from touch screen?

I have gone through the forums and people have suggested to give support for pointer events in midp/src/events/input-port/fb/native/fb_handle_input.c . But i am new to Java and don't know how exactly to change the source. Can some body point me to any useful resource, or paste source code if they have done similar things for their device. It would help me a lot.

Regards
Pranay

Hi

Touch screen gives 3 types of input, pen up, pen down and scroll mode. Its similar to mouse behaivour. Now u need to configure your touch event to mouse.

Thanks
