Hi!

I'm a spanish student triying to make first steps in wonderland but I got this error when I try to launch the server, even though the server starts succesfully. When I open the web page it appears blank and cannot see anything, so I can't launch the client.

If I try to run the client directly from the sell, it doesn't work either and it says "unable to connect with server" or something like this.

Does anybody know what's happening? could please anyone help me? Thanks in advance

Hello,

These messages are 'normal', they are not errors.

Supposing that you already checked that the Darkstar server is running (using the Admin Web UI), the symptom I see is that your client just cannot find your server !
An address like http://bruckner:8080/ is usually a local address... not enough for client systems. To check this just "ping" your server from your client.

Then, not knowing precisely your environment, what you might need to do is as follows:
1. Modify my.run.properties on the server with a line like:
wonderland.webserver.host=
2. In Admin Web UI, Manage Servers, Edit for Darkstar:
a) enter: wonderland.web.server.url (left) and the URL of your server (right)
b) enter: darkstar.host.public (left) and the IP address of your server (right)
3. Restart the servers ("java -jar Wonderland.jar my.run.properties") and connect from the client using the URL at the end of the web server's start log.

... and post a reply saying that it works!
