Hello All,

I am working on JavaFX project. My requirement is

When the application starts, the background service have to be started. When the User enters a particular location, he have to get the notification regarding Location Name, near hotels, etc.

My questions are:

1) Can we start background services from JavaFX on mobile.
2) Is it possible to display notifications based on location or time?

Thanks in advance.

1) Yes, you can do that. Those services need to be implemented in Java and you have to do the synchronization with JavaFX yourself. There are a number of helper classes for common background tasks in the JavaFX API. Maybe you do not need to write this by yourself. Depends on what you plan to do.

2) I do not understand your second question. Could you explain it a little more?
