I can't seem to run any X applicatons on the SAS machine after starting up a few different app's in world. It's a Red Hat system (RHEL5). I have another SAS running on a Red Hat system that doesn't have this problem. They are different configurations (1's an older system). What information should I look at to find out what's going on? (Sorry so vague) The version we are running of RHEL is 5.4.

Thanks!

Often when X apps refuse to start up it is because the SAS has crashed.
Useful information may be contained in the SAS log.
You can view this via the Manage Server admin page. Also, the darkstar
server log sometimes contains useful information in these
situations.

I will look at the logs. But the SAS is definitely still running.
