Hi guys, I'm evalutaing JXTA as a foundation technology for my next project. I have a very basic question, so please apologize me and redirect me to the FAQ if necessary :) Is JXTA supporting natively tunneling over SSH? If yes, how? If not, how can we address this?

AFAIK, there is no "native" support in JXTA for SSH tunneling. Why would it need one? The only applications which I know to support "native" SSH tunneling are those who need to work SSH account anyway to access the filesystem (unison, rsync) and those who does not have or try to implement their own security stack.
You can configure JXTA to use a certain rendezvous or relay peers,
for example
val config = new NetworkConfigurator (NetworkConfigurator.EDGE_NODE, jxtaStore)
config.addSeedRelay (java.net.URI.create ("tcp://127.0.0.1:1234")) // Tunneled to our private net.
the way you create the tunnel itself is up to you, cf.

Fair enough. I hope something was available directly insider JXTA so that it takes care of the tunneling as well. I need something that "just works :)"
