Hi all.

We're puzzled by a problem with Davy's build for Windows Mobile.
On many phones the program refuses to lauch.
This is the stack trace:

java.lang.InternalError: Converter malfunction (UTF-8)
at java.io.InputStreamReader.malfunction(Unknown source)
at java.io.InputStreamReader.convertInto(Unknown source)
at java.io.InputStreamReader.fill(Unknown source)
at java.io.InputStreamReader.read(Unknown source)
at java.io.BufferedReader.fill(Unknown source)
at java.io.BufferedReader.readLine(Unknown source)
at java.io.BufferedReader.readLine(Unknown source)
at sun.misc.MIDPConfig.readPermittedClassFile(Unknown source)
at sun.misc.MIDPConfig.getPermittedClasses(Unknown source)
at sun.misc.MIDPConfig.isClassAllowed(Unknown source)

On other phones it works without a problem.

From the stack trace it seems as if the MIDPPermittedClasses.txt is faulty, but we've investigated it thoroughly and cannot find anything odd...

Anyone have an idea???

/Mikael

Hi Mikael

Can you give some more information about the phoneME build you used and what version
of the Windows Mobile OS you tested with?

Do you have this error with only one application/midlet or with all applications/midlets?
