Hello,

I know that m2ts files can be progressive assets.

What else can be a progressive asset?
Can .mpls or *.clpi be progressive assets?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Vinay,

I really doubt that anything other than .m2ts can be a progressive asset. To start with, the BUMF's xml schema file (BD-ROM 3-1 5.7) requires "ProgressiveAssetType" VPFileName attribute to be mt2s in the STREAM dir. My personal understanding is that .mpls and .clpi need to be there during VFS update, for the BD player to properly populate info about the stream.
