Adding RotPothPath or any other Interpolator at runtime?

Hi,

I have a TransformGroup thats already part of the live scenegraph. Now, I would like to add an Interpolator object at runtime.

If I try, I receive an error: "Group: only a BranchGroup node may be added"
when adding the Interpolator to the scenegraph.

Anybody knows about a solution?

Try

1.Create a new Branch Group
2. Add the interpolator to this Branch Group and then at runtime
3. add the Branch Group, the interpolator comes with it

Warning
I am known for getting slick solutions which do not work.

Hey Peter,

your solution sounds good and I already tried that. But the problem I see is that, when constructing the interpolator, I have to pass the animated Group as a parameter to the new interpolator, wright? But the interpolator constructor does only take Nodes of the type TransformGroup, wright?

How can I solve this? Any idea?
